Candice PedersenCandice is AEV’s operations officer, responsible for the day-to-day operations of AEV, supporting all the other ants, and participating in AEV’s strategic planning.
Prior to joining AEV Candice worked at Microsoft for 9 years in a variety of marketing roles focused on building and maintaining customer communities, most notably as the Global Program Manager for the Microsoft MVP program.
Candice’s passion for the power of community started when she was a small business owner. For 13 years as an owner of the successful DIY indie music label, K Records, Candice built and nurtured relationships with musicians, fans, record store employees, journalists, and other music labels, fostering a community that strongly identified with the label and helped grow it into an internationally acclaimed and respected record label.
Candice still goes to shows (just not as many as she did 20 years ago), is married to a drummer, and is the doting owner of one overly large cat and a regular sized Schnauzer/Dachshund puppy.
