Shauna Causey joined Ant’s Eye View from Comcast where she managed communications, community relations and social media strategy for companies, non‐profits and elected officials. Over the last 15 years, she’s worked for the Seattle Mariners, FOX, Fox Sports Net, and Comcast. She was recently voted in the 100 Top Women in Tech by TechFlash and was one of seven women across the world honored as a top woman in tech at the 2010 South by Southwest conference. The LA Times named Shauna as part of the “Female Empire of Women in Tech” in an article in March 2010.
Shauna serves on the board of directors for Social Media Club Seattle as the vice-chair of the Board. In early 2009, Shauna started Voluntweetup, an event series where local technology enthusiasts volunteer to train and educate non‐profits how to effectively use social media. She leads Twestival Local (part of a global non‐profit social media event) and is on the steering committee for Gnomedex (one of the premier tech conferences on the West Coast). You can also find Shauna on Seattle 2.0 TV interviewing tech startup companies, co‐hosting a weekly social media Google Wave chat, and volunteering to help local non‐profits and elected officials with their social media efforts.
