Everybody goes home happy.
These days marketers are searching for better ways to build loyalty with their customers. After all, customer loyalty is the key to business success. Traditional methods of trying to build “loyalty” have been largely unsuccessful because they tend to focus on what’s good for the corporation, not what’s interesting for the customer.
The way we approach each of our projects is based on three simple ideas:
- Conversation builds relationships…
- … relationships build trust…
- … trust builds loyalty.
Developing loyalty starts with conversation, and Ant’s Eye View helps you figure out how to start, maintain, and continue that conversation.
Companies converse with consumers in much the same way two friends converse with each other. But how does a company ensure they’re seen as a friend, not as a greedy marketer?
The method is simple, keep a crucial mantra in mind: Everybody goes home happy.
The idea is simple – when creating connection between consumers and there needs to be a balance maintained. Brands shouldn’t be giving away their time and product for no reason, and community members shouldn’t be volunteering to help a company for no other reason than “they asked”. Both sides should be getting something fulfilling out of the interaction.
But here’s the all important question….what is “fulfilling”? Who knows! That’s up to each party to determine, and then communicate. The goal is that whatever the fulfillment, at the end of the day Everybody goes home happy.
Ant’s Eye View helps you discover how you can form a relationship with your consumers and start a conversation that maintains this balance. If you’d like to find an even bigger dose of how we approach problems and think through current trends, check out Jake’s blog at CommunityGuy.com.
